Here?s what?s most important: When?Pharrell?appeared on?Late Night With Jimmy Fallon?last night in promotion of his book,?Places and Spaces I?ve Been, he did?not?talk about what he?s been doing in the studio with?Miley Cyrus?and?Tyler The Creator. He did, however, talk about his experience breaking into the music industry, and acted totally passe when Fallon showed a picture of Pharrell chilling with?Jay-Z?and?Frank Ocean. Because that?s normal, or whatever.
Admittedly, Pharrell seemed fairly cagey in the interview, focusing the discussion squarely on his new book and a few odd stories ? like the time when?Diddy?told him that he was destined to be a star. Also look out for Pharrell?s discussion of Diddy?s various names. It?s priceless. Watch the video up top.
